Background

• In 1993 the MAGTUR Co. (Show Cave Tourism and Trading Company) was established in Ankara.

• In 1998 the Dim Cave and its facilities have been inaugurated for benefits of domestic and international visitors as a remarkable advantage for the Turkish Tourism. It took more than two years to complete the planning and construction works of the cave.

• In 2002 the International Show Caves Association (ISCA) has qualified the Dim Cave as a member of the association.

Currently, the Dim Cave is successfully operational with modern managing methods of the MAGTUR Co.

Services

The MAGTUR Company mainly dealing with several activities such as;

To prepare implementation projects, considering tourism and other purposes, for operating any kind of natural caves with contemporary methods.

To implement the application projects that already exists or prepared by MAGTUR Company, for natural cave construction works, in the frame of turnkey operation contracts.

To undertake the operation of any existing natural cave and its facilities due to the rules and regulations that arranged by the ISCA.

Additionally, the company upon request is arranging Cave tours and Jeo-tours.

Capacity

The MAGTUR Co. has reliable professional staff that has great experienced in their fields; a Geomorphologist - Speleologist (PhD), a Geologist (PhD.), a Geologist, two Geomorphologist, a Topographic technician - Mathematician. The company has also three half-time staff; A Civil Engineer, an Architect and an Electrical Engineer.
